Scandinavian weaving from the middle 20^th century was a considered a renaissance of creativity in Northern Europe, because of the advances seen in textile patterns and techniques. Helsinki, is a tribute to Finnish weaving and uses a series of geometric forms arranged in an abstracted lattice design. The result is a design that is built from geometric structure but arranged with natural movement.
