Art Deco as seen through the lenes of traditional carpet weaving can lead to an inventive and new expression. Kashan Deco was based on a vintage carpet in our archive that was woven in Persia during the height of the Art Deco period in Europe. The result is a rug design with an evolved vernacular that uses color and layers to express and Art Deco sentiment.
